Who We Are

A church plant for the Crosstown Neighborhood

Our Story

Resurrection Presbyterian began as a church-planting vision from Redeemer PCA, led by pastor Austin Lenox and a group of Redeemer members. Together, they set out to plant a Bible-believing, gospel-preaching church rooted in Midtown Memphis, with Crosstown as its home, and committed to serving and reaching its neighbors.

A group of people gathered in a living room during a celebration, with women laughing and talking, a man smiling in the foreground holding a can, and a baby sitting on a couch. There are birthday balloons, including a cute cat-shaped balloon, and a family photo on the wall by a fireplace.

Mission

Connect Crosstown to Christ, community, and calling as we delight in, declare, and demonstrate His love to Midtown Memphis.

Vision

We long to show Jesus as beautiful and believable and for His resurrection power and love to continue to bring real life and flourishing to the Crosstown Community and Midtown, Memphis.

Core Values

Austin Lenox

Planting Pastor

Austin Lenox was born in Eva Alabama and attended Mississippi State University where he fell deeper in love with Jesus through the ministry of RUF. He went on to work for RUF at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville as an intern before attending seminary at RTS in Jackson, Mississippi where he worked with the youth ministry of First Presbyterian Church.

He and his wife Meredith, daughter Rivers, Bernese Mountain dog Clyde, calico cat The Duchess, and beta fish Marcus live in the Evergreen neighborhood and love the Crosstown Concourse (specifically the Mad Grocer), the YMCA pool, Ecco, Tonica, Overton Park, the Zoo, and the Poplar Ave. Taco Bell. Before being sent out to lead the planting efforts of Redeemer Memphis’s first plant, he served as the Assistant Pastor of Youth and Assimilation for five years where the Lord grew in him a heart for Midtown and its people and institutions.

Allison Bradsher

Director of Community Engagement

Allison Bradsher is a Memphis native who is grateful to call this city home. She earned her degree in elementary education from Auburn University before marrying her husband, Rob. After living in Little Rock and Baltimore, they returned to Memphis, where they are raising their four children: Evelyn, Wilder, Deacon, and Mabel. Alongside motherhood, Allison completed training in spiritual formation and spiritual direction through Moody Bible Institute. She helped launch and lead The Retreat House before focusing her work on spiritual direction, and through Wellsprings in the Wilderness, she has trained others in the practice. Now, Allison brings her love for God and passion for spiritual formation to the Crosstown community, a place she has admired since witnessing its restoration a decade ago. When she's not meeting with others, you'll find her enjoying French Truck coffee, listening to Church Health's The Mystic podcast, or sharing sushi at Briza.
