What is my money actually going to?
Since ⅔ of Resurrection Pres’s budget is coming from the internal giving of the Core Group members and the benevolence giving of Redeemer Memphis, every dollar you give will go directly to ministry efforts and activities in the Crosstown area of Midtown, Memphis.
What does “ministry efforts and activities” mean?
It means buying countless cups of coffee, lunches, dinners, and drinks so that we can welcome, host, and show up in the lives of our un-churched / de-churched neighbors to get to know them and their stories. It looks like providing funds for us to secure places to meet as a Core Team to dream about how to be faithful to the calling God is placing on this group of people to see a new church come into fruition that will love and serve our neighbors with the good news and hope of Jesus. It is helping us with office space, child care, and so much more that goes into pulling this thing off!
